The Dari Bee was founded and owned by my step=father John Tait. He and my mother owned it until around 1999 or so. I worked there for 5 summers while a teenager. Seeing those pics brings back memories of spending time down there outside, hanging with friends and family. Unfortunatly John passed away in May of 2004. But the fun memories of him and "the Dari" carry on. I hoope you enjoyed your trip as much as I enjoyed seeing the old shop.

Skip, I remember that place from when I lived in Riverside in the 1950's. I heard your mom owned it at one time and I remember her from school days. Say Hi for me!
